Nueva Vizcaya
Originally inhabited by the indigenous Gaddang, the town was formally founded in 1739. It is the capital of the province of Nueva Vizcaya.

Officially recognised as a municipality in 1889, the town has been historically popular for its high quality war horses among the samurai.

The Bayombong-Gonohe Sister City Association believes in the values of openness, camaraderie, and volunteerism shared by the two communities. The association, as well as our web services arm, will do everything in our power to provide timely and quality information and updates to all of our stakeholders and partners.
MISSION
The Bayombong Gonohe Sister City Association aims to foster and develop grassroots relations between the communities of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya and Gonohe, Aomori through cultural, educational, and economic exchanges.
